More Sordid BBC Scandal and Cover-Up: Allegations Male Presenter Exploited Vulnerable Teenager for Sexual Images

A male BBC presenter has been accused of exploiting a vulnerable teenager for sexual images of them self.

The presenter, who has not yet been publicly identified but is rumoured to be a household name on a six-figure salary, is alleged to have paid the teenager more than £35,000 in exchange for the sordid images.

Speaking to The Sun, the youngster's mother recalled seeing an image of the star on their child's mobile phone.

She said: "I loved watching him on TV.

"So I was shocked to see a picture of him sitting on a sofa in his house in his underwear.

"I immediately recognised him.

"He was leaning forward getting ready for my child to perform for him.

"My child told me, 'I have shown things' and this was a picture from some kind of video call."

The youngster, who was 17 when their interaction with the star first began, is now aged in their early 20s.

Their mother told the newspaper that they had been battling a drug addiction, which had been funded by cash sent by the celebrity.

A complaint about the star's conduct was first made to the BBC on 19th May 2023, but they remained on the airwaves until only a few days ago.

The mother described to The Sun how she felt the Corporation had not taken her complaint seriously or acted quickly enough.

It would appear that the national broadcaster only began its investigation into the allegations when it got wind that The Sun was going to run the story yesterday.

In the finest traditions of the organisation, it would appear that the BBC was happy to bury the scandal until it learnt of its imminent tabloid exposure.

Judging by the mood music this is going to be a very big story once the name becomes public.

Stay tuned for further updates.

STOP PRESS: This story is moving very quickly and there are certain names squarely in the frame, although no-one has been identified by official sources just yet.

During a discussion piece on GB News (here) earlier today, political commentator Suzanne Evans inadvertently let slip that the victim is male. This was further reinforced by Talk TV presenter Kevin O'Sullivan (here) who left viewers in no doubt that the victim is male.

This potentially opens an interesting can of worms, as the BBC star in question is known to be male - quite possibly a male whose sexual interest in other males is not widely known; quite possibly a male with a wife and family.
