Why we're here:
This blog is to highlight the unjust persecution of legitimate non-TV users at the hands of TV Licensing. These people do not require a licence and are entitled to live without the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused by TV Licensing's correspondence and employees.

If you use equipment to receive live broadcast TV programmes, or to watch or download BBC on-demand programmes via the iPlayer, then the law requires you to have a TV licence and we encourage you to buy one.

If you've just arrived here from a search engine, then you might find our Quick Guide helpful.

High-Visibility TV Licensing Goon

This TV Licensing goon obviously doesn't believe in a covert approach, judging by the colour of his jacket.

If I was a suspicious sort of chap I might think he had stolen it from Royal Mail, but I'm sure his choice of clothing is just coincidental.

The occupier, evidently familiar with TV Licensing's modus operandi, approaches the door with the camera rolling. TV Licensing man begins the conversation with the bizarre opening line: "I've got a new payment card for you".

When pushed the orange clad goon volunteers that he's from TV Licensing. The occupier confirms that he has no TV, to which the TV Licensing vagabond asks to enter and check. The occupier refuses, elaborating slightly: "No, you're not coming in my house. I don't want nothing to do with your paedophile ring mate".

The occupier is, of course, referring to the BBC Jimmy Savile (+ yet to be named others) paedophile ring, which was widely reported in last week's newspapers. Indeed it has even been suggested that the BBC deliberately scrapped a Newsnight programme about Savile's paedophilia in order to make another BBC programme more attractive to viewers.

As the BBC and TV Licensing are one and the same he is expressing his disapproval of the "noncegate" scandal to one of their agents.

The TV Licensing man then scurries away rather sheepishly, demonstrating again the importance of filming this trash when they pay a visit.

A quick reminder of the law for any new visitors to our blog: A TV licence is only needed for those properties where equipment is installed or used to receive television programme services (e.g. live TV channels). Anyone not requiring a licence is under no legal obligation to communicate or co-operate with TV Licensing at all. TV Licensing employees have no more rights than anyone else visiting a property and must leave when asked to. It is perfectly legal, and encouraged, to film TV Licensing employees as they go about their work as some of them are economical with the truth.

I didn't see the goon offer any ID up to the LO. Bad goon, back to goon school for you. And a trip to Top Man wouldn't go amiss either.

That gear resembles railway PPE to me. Either way the entire licence dodging and the legally licence free community for six surrounding counties are going to see this fool coming from a country mile.

i dont have a tv nor watch live tv. i been sent what i find offensive letters. even if i say i dont have a tv they say oooo we dont believe you we are visiting anyway. so dont see the point of sending any response to the letters. my question is as they seem so desparate to drag people through court would this commerical entity trump up fake evidence to get a conviction?

Very good question. In our opinion YES they would.

What you have to remember is that TV Licensing employees are motivated by commission payments. The more collars they feel, by fair means or foul, the more they earn. We are in possession of official documents that confirm TV Licensing expect their employees to take at least one prosecution statement per hour. If they miss that target they are held to account.

Hillariously deceptive disguise. Could be from the Council Refuse Department. Could possibly be seen as 'One of those scally's doing Community Service', or Pay Back as it is also known as. He would have that printed on his back.
Since the last time I had a visit I have thought up whole diatribes of things to say, but that would depend on what mood I was in. I would probably just say F Off!
I told the last guy that came to my door That TV is incredibly boring and I cannot stand it.And no he can NOT come in! If they ever dare to come again I would add. The BBC are a load of Communists, Champagne Socialists and 'Luvvies' Islamophiles and other low life overpayed and sickeningly PC maggots. And owing to latest developments pedophiles as well.
I would also say " Why on earth should I pay for mind numbing rubbish and overt Leftist -Libreral BS propaganda?"
Oh yes, a word of advice dont fill any forms in to say you have no TV, on-line or by any other means. Just throw away any ' The Occupier' letters in the recycling box, even if they have your name on.The cat's litter tray would be even better!
Good luck to you all! The camera is a brilliant idea, and if you know any old folk please tell them their rights. They stood up to Hitler, stand by them against these creeps if you can.
