Regular readers will have caught our previous summary of anti-TVL letters being published by The Daily Telegraph.
Over the last few weeks, in light of the BBC's massive problems with editorial standards, these letters have become very frequent and increasingly irate in tone - so much so that TV Licensing has written an attempt to redress the balance:
"Sir - TV Licensing has a duty to collect the licence fee. We aim to do so efficiently and provide a good service to licence fee payers. It is clear, however, that a number of your readers have experienced problems when dealing with TV Licensing, and for this we apologise unreservedly.
"If any readers have unresolved problems, we are keen to hear from them directly so that we can resolve those problems and, where applicable, learn from them. Those wishing to contact us can do so by emailing telegraph@tvlicensing.info or by writing to TV Licensing (Daily Telegraph), Unit 80, London Industrial Park, Roding Road, London E6 6LS.
"A number of readers have raised questions relating to TV Licensing policy, such as why TV Licensing needs to be notified by retailers if people buy or hire a television. The law requires them to do so.
"Joanna Richards, TV Licensing, London WC2."

Closer investigation reveals that Joanna Richards is yet another flunky working for the Fishburn Hedges PR company, which TVL uses to put a positive hue on their unethical practices.
Perhaps the biggest clue that this isn't directly from TVL is the email address - tvlicensing.info instead of the official tvlicensing.co.uk mail servers.
More spin, no substance. Nothing more than attempt to quell the ongoing furore and make TVL look like a reasonable organisation, which we all know it isn't.
