TV Licensing has apologised after one of its goons threatened to give a man a "smack on your face" when he started to record an enquiry visit.
As described in our earlier article, the TV Licensing goon in question, who is shown in the image above, made the threat during an enquiry visit in the SE1 postcode district of London on 29th April 2021.
We notified the BBC of the encounter and asked it for information about the visit.
Having previously experienced false denials about the abysmal conduct of TV Licensing visiting officers, we also made it quite clear to the BBC that we were certain of the goon's identity and reliability of the footage.
On this occasion the BBC showed an uncharacteristic bout of humility, saying: "As you are aware, TV Licensing visiting officers are engaged by Capita and visiting officers are expected to abide by TV Licensing's rules of conduct at all times.
"The BBC is aware of the incident you have referenced and regrettably, the officer's conduct fell short of these expected standards.
"I can tell you that an apology has been issued by TV Licensing."
We therefore surmise that the goon in question has been "educated" about the conduct of future visits, which is something of a result given TV Licensing's usual habit of denial and sweeping misconduct under the carpet.
You mentioned that this 'Goon' has been re-educated with the correct conduct when confronting members of the public...Looking at him, he can't even walk properly never mind being capable of ever being re-educated..! Ignorant and backward..Peace..!
