Why we're here:
This blog is to highlight the unjust persecution of legitimate non-TV users at the hands of TV Licensing. These people do not require a licence and are entitled to live without the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused by TV Licensing's correspondence and employees.

If you use equipment to receive live broadcast TV programmes, or to watch or download BBC on-demand programmes via the iPlayer, then the law requires you to have a TV licence and we encourage you to buy one.

BBC Criticised Over Hour-Long Hydration Workshop

The BBC has come in for fresh criticism today, after it emerged that staff are being encouraged to take part in an hour-long hydration workshop.

I shit you not.

The hour-long "Hydration" webinar reminds BBC staff currently working from home of the importance of regularly drinking water as they do so.

A description of the course, emailed to staff, says: "Attending this webinar will help you to identify the importance of being fully hydrated and find practical ways to achieve this state every day and to understand how being fully hydrated will improve health, overall wellbeing and performance."

A BBC insider mocked the training, telling The Sun: "We've all had a good laugh about it, so I guess it has boosted our mental health."

But one of the BBC's resident wits replied: "We are addressing the fact that you can lead a journalist to water, but you can't make them drink."

Presumably those journalists are a bit on the thick side.
