Why we're here:
This blog is to highlight the unjust persecution of legitimate non-TV users at the hands of TV Licensing. These people do not require a licence and are entitled to live without the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused by TV Licensing's correspondence and employees.

If you use equipment to receive live broadcast TV programmes, or to watch or download BBC on-demand programmes via the iPlayer, then the law requires you to have a TV licence and we encourage you to buy one.

If you've just arrived here from a search engine, then you might find our Quick Guide helpful.

Essex TV Licensing Goon Clifford

An elderly TV Licensing goon by the name of Clifford was caught plying his immoral trade in Essex earlier today.

The video, originally uploaded to YouTube by our colleague ScreamCrow Face, shows the comical moment when Clifford's smile fades in terror the moment he is confronted by the mask-wearing camera man.

ScreamCrow Face has kindly agreed to us condensing the footage and re-uploading it to our own YouTube channel.

Clifford doesn't hang around once the occupier makes clear he isn't welcome. The portly goon retreats to his car, which is parked a good 50 yards further down the street. He drives a light blue Vauxhall Agila, registration number AV12 KPZ.

Remember that TV Licensing goons have no more rights to visit a property than anyone else. The occupier of a legally-licence-free property, as is the case here, is under no legal obligation whatsoever to communicate or co-operate with TV Licensing.

Furthermore, it is perfectly legal for the occupier of any property to record any TV Licensing goons that visit.

Pity the cameraman didn't take a closeup of the tax disc. Could have revealed some very interesting information.

Great video. Once again, lies and deceit from another Crapita goon. Don't watch or record live broadcast, then you do not need a licence.

Once again the LO would be well within his rights refusing to deal with this caller due to his identity card being incomplete.

The arrogance of "Cilfford" is astounding once he recovered from the shock of being greeted by a masked cameraman that is! :-)
As he haughtily declared that he is there to help the LO set up a TV licence when he dosen't know if the LO needs one or not.

Good on ScreamCrow Face for the way he handled this visit dunno if I have the time to sit around with a mask and a camcorder just the off chance TV Licensing may call though.

I have watched a number of videos on youtube where identification has been shown, one thing that strikes me as rather inmtreaguing is that there appear to be two types of id card ( there could conceivably be more) one has the dark blue background, the other a white bacikground
