Happy New Year

I wish all readers of the TV Licensing Blog the very best of happiness, success and good health for 2022.

It has been such a long time since I last wrote an article that I feel I owe you all an apology.

At the start of December I tested positive for the old Kung Flu and I didn't take too kindly to it. There were a few weeks where I could barely be bothered to get out of bed, let alone write blog articles. Fortunately I am on the mend and hope to be blogging routinely again soon.

Unlike the BBC at Christmas, I do not like repeating the same content over and over again. The past year seems to have revolved around one central issue - the BBC's implementation and enforcement of the new over-75 TV licence concession.

I hope 2022 brings a wider variety of controversial TV Licensing news and behaviour to write about!
