In the past year or so, it would appear that TV Licensing has done a fairly good job of instructing its goons how to behave in front of the camera.
The mask slipped when one TV Licensing goon, who clearly didn't realise he was being filmed during a recent visit, decided to abuse the occupier of a correctly unlicensed property.
The casual looking goon, complete with sunglasses and short-sleeved shirt, arrived at the property and tried to establish if the occupier had recently moved in. He then asked if she had a TV, to which she responded in the negative. He then asked if he could come in and check, which resulted in a similarly negative response and the door being closed.
Clearly frustrated that the occupier hadn't fallen for his pretence of authority, the goon petulantly shouted through the door "You're breaking the law. You're breaking the law". Of course there was no evidence of an offence being committed at the property. What we had here was a classic case of a huffy goon mistakenly - and arrogantly - believing he is entitled to more of the occupier's time than he actually was.
The stroppy knuckle-dragger oozed a few steps down the garden path before the occupier locked the door behind him. Hearing the door lock the goon said "Yeah, you would lock your door". Knowing, as we do, that TV Licensing has employed some extremely undesirable people over the years (see here and here for starters) one can hardly blame the occupier for taking such a conscientious approach to personal safety and home security. The BBC/Capita propagated idea that all TV Licensing goons are meticulously vetted, decent, upstanding citizens is a total falsehood.
After spending a few more moments pretending to write something down, the worthless prokaryote trampled across the occupier's garden plants and left the field of view.
We remind readers that by far the safest option is to ignore TV Licensing goons completely. TV Licensing is an inherently dishonest organisation that cannot be trusted. A legally-licence-free person has no business whatsoever with TV Licensing and does not need to assist them in any way, shape or form.
The occupier of an unlicensed property should take care to establish the identity of any unknown caller at their door. Having positively identified a TV Licensing goon, they should say nothing and immediately close the door. If the goon persists with anti-social behaviour on their doorstep, which is not unknown, then we would encourage the occupier to call the police.
We positively encourage the filming of all TV Licensing encounters, so that an accurate record is made. This prevents the TV Licensing goon from fabricating a different chain of events later on.

BBC Clown Goons are getting more and more desperate as their commission dries up. The licensing system is collapsing in Scotland - it won't be long before the rest of the UK follows suit.
