A picture paints a thousand words.
Twitter user Hilary Cockshaw has clearly gone to the trouble of informing TV Licensing that her mother has died and therefore no longer requires a TV licence.
TV Licensing, as is frequently the case, has started to send threatograms to Hilary's mother's property.
We have heard this same story on hundreds of occasions. It would appear that TV Licensing has very little compassion or decency when dealing with the recently bereaved.
Of course TV Licensing will have an excuse and deny any wrongdoing. It always does.

TV Licensing/BBC are controlled by character disordered serial bullies with no empathy and no conscience. They are parasites who should not get away with conning the public out of money to pay for disinformation and for watching a load of paedophiles/trannies talk rubbish. They harass and abuse the public when they do not tell them what they want to hear. The Freemason controlled BBC get away with unacceptable behaviour when they should either self-fund or be forced to close down. Their pricing is unacceptable. Nobody should have to pay to listen to people who lie about their gender and who mislead the public.
ReplyDeleteI would just send their crap back to them with the words RETURN TO SENDER NOT AT THIS ADDRESS SINCE then put the date of her death.
ReplyDeleteSome good news from the latest BBC annual report: the number of licence sales is down year on year.
ReplyDelete2017 paid for licences in force 21,667,000
2018 paid for licences in force 21,611,000
So despite likely growth in number of UK households over the year, the BBC sold 56,000 fewer licences.
There was an increase in the number of over 75's concessionary licences (paid by the government) that meant there was a very small overall increase in licences in force. However, from this year the government will be phasing out its payments for over 75's licences. With any luck, after 2020, the BBC should be around £700 million worse off.
yet another case..
ReplyDeleteproperty unnoccupied pending sale of deceased mother's house - mother was 86 when she died in January 2018 and had been in a Nursing Home for 2 years. On our last visit to the property (which we visit regularly to finish clearing), there were 4 threatening letters on the mat, sent in quick succession, the last stating that bailiffs were coming to collect the unpaid court award.
How can TV licencing possibly obtain these court awards when there is no evidence whatsoever that a TV is being used at an address - particularly where local authority departments have records that the property is unoccupied pending sale?
Surely the onus of proving their case rests with TV Licencing? Is the County Court system being abused?

ReplyDeletePlease note that "TV Licensing" is a BBC Trademark, Therefore, This is the BBC doing this. Why do they do it? Because to quote BBC TV Licensing Goon Ian Doyle "We're Greedy and Target Driven".
