Alternative TV Licensing Animation

BAFTA award-winning animation collective BanTheBBC bring their unmistakable sense of humour and animation style to some of the more bizarre excuses that TV Licensing goons come up with to get into your home and to get you to sign their TVL178 form.

The law requires that a licence is obtained for any device that is "installed or used" for "receiving or recording a television programme at the same time (or virtually the same time) as it is received by members of the public".

Anyone who does not require a TV licence is under no obligation to communicate or cooperate with TV Licensing at all. Simply ignore their letters and doorstep salesmen.

Edit: TV Licensing's marketing harlots, Proximity (of deceitful mailshot fame), had this video pulled from YouTube very quickly. Someone has kindly re-uploaded it to LiveLeak, which has a bit more spine than YouTube. Yet again YouTube demonstrate how sackless it is when it comes to the BBC/TV Licensing and freedom of expression.

  1. ahh .. I'm certin in the UK just like the USA that you can take an pass an Amateur Radio Operators License .. not certin whom englands / UK's Fcc is.. it looks like its called "The Office of Communications (Ofcom)", the UK equivalent of the FCC ,. take the ham test Produce your Offical OFCOM Ham / Amateur Operators license to the dumb BBC License enforcement.. since they the "bbc" will also have to have a License from OFCOM too,. Tell them the antenna is for ATV Television and so are the tv sets in the house,. If they Take you to court threaten to bring OFCOM actions against BBC Since you now have two laws that are confilicting with one another. File a motion to dimiss with the court stating the Ham Radio and Amature ATV /ACTV broadcasting Laws .. and to refer the case and complaint to OFCOM ,. Unless your causing interfearance big time in the neihborhood .. OFCOM will thow out both complaints and counter Complaints of both partys,.

your counter complaint is that your an amature broadcaster on both ham radio and ham TV and BBC has been interfearing with the operations of your licensed station . you state the antenna's are for Licensed ham oparations.. and BBC has been falsely staeing like wise .
