Return to Sender

Another amusing video about TV Licensing's annoying postal habits has appeared at YouTube.

I've mentioned this strategy before in my earlier Stop Harassing Us! post. A quick reminder of TV Licensing's Freepost address:

TV Licensing
Freepost BS6689
Bristol
BS1 3YJ

Remember that the heavier your package the more it costs them in terms of postage and inconvenience.

Important note: People have asked us about the legality of returning special extras to TV Licensing (I shan't go into too much detail because they read this blog too). It is an offence to send anything by post that could be classed as obscene or dangerous. We couldn't condone such actions, so if you do choose to bulk up your envelopes please do so with an inert material.

  1. Excellent. I've used this approach many a time now. Thanks for the post. Keep up the good work.

  2. Argos catalogues are useful, but one is left wondering what to do with the old ones.

If I don't have an Argos catalogue, I can always collect one when I visit the big town.

  3. Ta muchly. I've been throwing away their junk and getting cross about it. Today I returned to them, at their expense, some of their bumf. Now I'm a much happier bunny.
