It's the principle of holding TV Licensing to account and making it realise that its days of trampling over little people are drawing to an end.

We actually wrote about the new "10 days" letter not that long ago, if you'd care to read more about it:
TV Licensing: We're Giving You 10 Days to Get Correctly LicensedAdminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12702203117069680585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4959111893158321335.post-16790338677385414162014-11-09T19:52:08.638+00:002014-11-09T19:52:08.638+00:00I'm in the same boat. And over all these 12 years I have received their computer generated letters. It costs me nothing to ignore them and put them in the junk mail recycling box. It is all cost to them. I have had no contact with them for 12 years.
Today, however, I had a new format letter!
Not a piddling A5 as before. No a big A4 letter stating that I had until the 20th November to pay up before they would take action.
A calendar showing me that I had 10 days when their 'enforcement officers' would not visit me! Gosh! Aren't I lucky?
Well I suppose it's not a bad idea to go for compensation - but £149.
It needs to be £1490 before I wast a good 2nd class stamp on them!Bernardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09024557597864373705noreply@blogger.com
