Why we're here:
This blog is to highlight the unjust persecution of legitimate non-TV users at the hands of TV Licensing. These people do not require a licence and are entitled to live without the unnecessary stress and inconvenience caused by TV Licensing's correspondence and employees.

If you use equipment to receive live broadcast TV programmes, or to watch or download BBC on-demand programmes via the iPlayer, then the law requires you to have a TV licence and we encourage you to buy one.

Flabbergasted: Savile Impersonated by Tweenies

In a further act of self-destruction the BBC astonished parents by broadcasting a children's TV character impersonating disgraced paedophile Jimmy Savile.

This morning's episode of The Tweenies, broadcast on CBeebies at 8.40 am, featured a two minute segment loosely based on Top of the Pops. We now know that following the filming of programmes like Top of the Pops Savile lured impressionable audience members back to his dressing room to abuse.

Orange-faced puppet Max was dressed in a wig similar to Savile's trademark blond locks, a tracksuit and a chunky gold medallion. Any sense of coincidence was obliterated when the puppet welcomed the audience to "The Tweenie Chart Countdown" in a Yorkshire accent and began yodelling. In a further sickening twist the Savile impersonating puppet introduced sidekick Milo's song, which was inappropriately named "One Finger, One Thumb".

This latest clanger comes just a few days after an official report revealed that at least 23 sexual offences were committed by Savile on BBC premises. That figure is probably a conservative estimate, given that police have branded the former Radio 1 DJ one of the most prolific sexual offenders of the twentieth century.

The Tweetosphere was quickly abuzz with comments criticising the BBC's choice of programme. Twitter user @mrkennysenior tweeted: "Are BBC trying to self destruct? Max from Tweenies dressed as Jimmy Savile just now nearly chokes on my cornflakes". @FiserableMucker tweeted: "They're doing a TOTP style show and he's all Savile'd up. Someone has dropped the ball at CBeebies".

The BBC said: "This morning CBeebies broadcast a repeat of an episode of the Tweenies, originally made in 2001, featuring a character dressed as a DJ impersonating Jimmy Savile. This programme will not be repeated and we are very sorry for any offence caused."

Hello again,

After a little research into the BBC 'Trust', I can reveal to you and your readers that the BBC 'trust' is nothing of the sort.

Extracted From the Royal Charter;
----------------------------
THE BBC TRUST
12.Legal nature of the Trust

The word “trust” is used in the name of the BBC Trust in a colloquial sense, to suggest a body which discharges a public trust as guardian of the public interest. The word is not used in its technical legal sense, and it is not intended to imply that the members of theTrust are to be treated as trustees of property or to be subject to the law relating to trustsor trustees.

--------------

So there you have it.

The BBC Trust means . . .absolutely nothing in Law - it's just a veneer of legitimacy, much like the Crown and it's talking shop for commoners [otherwise known as Parliament] that promulgates such pseudo-lawful drivel. In a 'colloquial' sense, it is a big fat fake gravy train with no responsibility to anyone but the House of Saxe-Coburg, which was awfully fond of Mr. Savile, and could not possibly have known about his activities, despite owning the largest espionage system in the world.

Regards,

Dayzero

It's typical of the BBC to promote perversity as well as all that Left wing biased reporting and inane rubbish
New news from my household!! After an escalating series of increasingly nasty letters from the Licensing people. My husband had a go at them on the phone. Next letter said " After your recent telephone call, we will not be back for 3 years" When asked for his name he said 'The Occupier.
As for me, well I would buy a TV if the BBC was abolished and replaced with news and programmes without all the false propaganda.
I want UN-biased News not drivel!
